Still Vibrato takes its name from the space between stillness and motion—the quiet observation and precise adjustments that turn green coffee into something expressive.
The Bend roaster sources coffees seasonally, working with importers who specialize in particular growing regions and returning to producers across harvests. Each coffee is roasted to bring forward what is already there: fruit, chocolate, florals, acidity, sweetness, or something harder to name.
At the café, tucked into the ground floor of the Hixon building on Century Drive, those coffees appear as espresso, drip, flash brew, and single-origin drinks prepared by baristas who can tell you what you're tasting without turning the exchange into a lecture.
There are loose-leaf teas, locally made pastries, bags of beans to take home, open-air indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs passing through with their people.
Serious coffee, served without the seriousness.
