Gather Sauna House begins with a wood fire and a simple invitation: get warm, get cold, rest, repeat.

Set beside the Deschutes River, the public sauna brings an old bathing tradition into the open air. Guests move between the heat of the wood-fired sauna and the cold of the river, pausing outside between rounds as the body slowly adjusts.

The experience draws from traditional sauna culture, but its sense of place is entirely Central Oregon—juniper, moving water, open sky, and strangers becoming less strange as everyone settles into the same rhythm.
